Privacy Policy for Geometric Industries

NYOM AB ("we") provides Geometric Industries and is the controller responsible for personal data covered by this policy. This policy covers the game and related support.
Information we handle
Gameplay and app-use information
We automatically collect play-session information, gameplay activity (including progression and resource balances), in-app purchase activity, and app information such as version and platform. We use this information to understand use and improve the game. Random identifiers group events within a session and, in some regions outside the European Economic Area, across sessions from the same installation. The game does not offer an analytics opt-out.
Technical requests
Our hosting providers process IP addresses and request information to operate and secure game services, including online time checks for offline progress. The network country is inferred from the IP address to apply regional analytics settings. IP addresses and inferred countries are not retained in gameplay analytics.
Game saves
Game saves and purchase-delivery records are stored on your device. You can remove local game data by clearing the app's storage or deleting the app, which may permanently remove your progress.
Purchases
Apple or Google processes payments. The game receives transaction information, including product details, status, and receipts or tokens, to validate and deliver purchases. Store-provided sales and transaction records may also be used for support, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal compliance.
Information you choose to send us
If you contact us, we use your contact details, message, and any attachments to handle your request. Providing this information is voluntary, but we may need relevant details to respond.
Why we use information
For personal data, the legal bases for the uses described above are:
• performance of a contract where necessary to provide game services, fulfil purchases, and handle related support;
• our legitimate interests in operating and securing our services, preventing fraud, and answering other inquiries; and
• legal obligations requiring us to retain records or respond to lawful requests.
When information is disclosed
We use hosting, security, and communication providers to process information for these purposes under our instructions and with protections consistent with this policy. Our game backend uses Amazon Web Services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
Apple and Google handle store and payment information under their own privacy policies: Apple (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/) and Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
International processing
Our providers may process information outside Sweden. Where required for transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on adequacy decisions or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for details or a copy of the applicable safeguards.
Retention
Gameplay analytics and backend operational logs are deleted on a rolling schedule within 12 months. Support records are kept to resolve requests and related disputes. Records required for accounting or other legal obligations are retained for the required period. Other personal data is deleted when no longer needed for its stated purpose.
Your choices and rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details below to make a request. We may need information to identify the relevant records.
To request deletion, email contact@nyom.se. We delete data we can associate with the requester using the information provided in the request. An email normally identifies only our correspondence with you: gameplay analytics carry no name, email address, account, or device identity, so they cannot be matched to a request and are instead deleted on the rolling schedule described above.
You may complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) (https://www.imy.se/en/about-us/contact-us/) or your local data-protection authority.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls, and storage protections to protect information.
